I find having a bit more of an understanding of someone’s character’s personality can help…it usually comes out stiff for me too when I don’t have a flying clue what their OC is like :<

I realized that my commissions pale in comparison to my personal art

from hereon I’m going to try and improve the quality of my commission work, I feel like a jackass. It’s not intentional, but I guess working on foreign people’s characters makes the work come out stiff and less fluid/lively.

so someone came to me with a $200.00 commission and asked to pay after seeing the line art done… no i usually do not do this but seeing as it was a very large commission i bent the rules a little. (because no one wants shitty art if they are paying a lot of money for it)
